Introduction to Animation: Get exposed to three types of animations that are most commonly seen and explore how each of them are created. Learn to create your own simple animations using the flip book method as well as using a computer program to create a digital animation.

DMA courses are strictly opened to ages 12-18

Through this poetry workshop, seasoned youth spoken word poet, Emma Rheams, and Ruben Escalante of San Jose's MACLA will guide you in developing your artistic voice!

 

Whether you write actively write poetry or are interested in creative writing, this workshop will help you discover how art is used as a form of self expression!

Learn about how womxn filmmakers have given voice to the stories of womxn and girls on screen. Explore your personal stories, interview womxn in your families and create photo, audio, video projects about your life.

Join our very first virtual family paint night!

Each event will feature a local artist that will teach you fun easy techniques for some family fun.

YTI Paint Night event and supplies are free for families with youth. 

Youth must be ages 12- 24 for families to qualify for free supplies*
